The best thing about blacksmithing is that it's a traditional craft; every piece that leaves the forge is unique and, in its own way, a bespoke commission. There's no substitute for something that has been individually crafted by hand - it's always rewarding to be challenged with pieces that themselves are unique and still cannot be made by a machine.
