Long a symbol of love and passion, the ancient Greeks and Romans associated roses with Aphrodite and Venus, goddesses of love.
 
This rose has been hand made out of solid steel in my Lincolnshire forge. I craft every stage by hand, from cutting the petals through to texturing and final shaping. Each stage of crafting the rose is done using only hand tools and heat, meaning that each rose is truly unique. 

Makes a truly heartfelt gift for an anniversary especially the 11th or steel year.
